Bio
Amalia Lungu is a self-taught painter quietly exploring light, landscape, and the spaces between.
Rooted in watercolor, but also working with pastels, oils, and gouache, her paintings capture fleeting skies, subtle shifts in weather, and the stillness of being within a place.
Without formal training or public exhibitions (yet), her work is shaped by instinct, solitude, and the joy of painting itself. This portfolio marks her first step in sharing that inner world — one built on gentle discovery and a deep connection to mood, nature, and moment.
Amalia began painting in 2022. With no formal art education, her work is shaped by observation, instinct, and a deep connection to nature. She approaches painting as a reflective, solitary practice.
Outside of art, she works as a Program Manager and is currently a student in History.
